Meet the Maker: Karla
With over eight years of experience as a Direct Support Professional, five years as a paraeducator, and four years working in group homes while earning her degree in horticulture, Karla brings both heart and skill to Root Creations. Her work in gardens in France deepened her love of nature and design, inspiring her to combine her artistic eye with her passion for plants.
Energetic and deeply creative, Karla’s vision for Root Creations is to craft beautiful handmade plant décor while fostering creativity and connection within the disabled community. Each piece is rooted in care, growth, and the joy of bringing life into shared spaces.
